akeshore Campground and Cottage is located on the beautiful Sproat Lake in the Historic Alberni Valley of Vancouver Island. Our clean and secure facility is ideally situated in the heart of some of the most desired attractions and activities on Vancouver Island.

We have 31 RV sites, 4 Tenting sites, and a two bedroom cottage which are available for you April 1st through Novmber 1st on Sproat Lake.

Relax, swim or enjoy other lakeside activities on the beautiful sandy beach. Our docks are great for water skiers and fishers of all ages. Kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and a small power boat are available for rent by our guests. You can even bring your own boat and moor it at our private docks! There is a play area for smaller children, a diving board and slide that provide hours of fun!

Access to Lakeshore Campground and Cottage is easy! Ride BC Ferries to Nanaimo or Victoria and take the scenic Island Highway to Parksville and head east. We are just 13 Kilometers (8 Miles) northwest of Port Alberni. Depending on seasonal traffic, travel time from Nanaimo can take 1-2 hours and from Victoria 3-4 hours.
